VIRTUAL TRIP TO JAPAN

During the last week of class, the students went on a virtual trip to Japan. Monday, we "traveled" by plane to Japan and learned the language. Tuesday, we shopped and dressed in kimonos, yukatas, and obis. Wednesday and Thursday we learned more about arts/culture by making origami and calligraphy. Friday, we ate japanese food-sushi, rice, miso soup, seaweed, and green tea. Students had a blast learning about a different culture and country through this experience. Thank you to all parents who helped, volunteered, or sent in items throughout the week. We appreciate everything!
